Chocobo Raising... and Moving~!

  Okay, so it's been awhile since I posted last, been kinda busy in real life, we're moving so when we DO move we won't have internet for awhile, so I won't be able to post then, let alone play FF11... hopefully things pick up before then...

Anyways! Alot's happened... i've mostly been taking care of my Chocobo and that's it, but a few days ago I got on and we headed to quifim for the LS to party and get us some lvls, but it didn't last long, 'cuz we were just sitting there and after like an hour of doing nothing I got bored and logged off, but I got a screeny of the cliffs covered in snow while we were waiting for people.

 

I got some cute pictures of Amy so I thought i'd share them with you, i'll post them as I talk, lol. Well, since there was like 2 days where I didn't get online 'cuz of real life drama, my little Amy ended up getting sick, and she's been crying out at night, missing me. I did the hankerchief quest for her, so that should help a little... There was NO Tokopekke Wildgrass at any AH ANYWHERE! And noone had any to give or sell me either... So I decided to take up gardening. I'm currently growing 4 pots of Vomp Carrots, and 2 pots of Tokopekke Wildgrass. I'm going to keep gardening tons of chocobo foods, and sell them at the Sandy AH so other people don't have to be in the same sucky position im in... Also, once Amy goes into her Adolescent stage, i'll also be growing some Azuoph Greens as well.  =)

Also, I noticed that Amy LOVES going for walks, and she likes to find pebbles on the ground and gives them to me, tehehe! I have all of them so far, I think i'll keep them forever. ^_^ I can't wait to be able to read her stories, and for some reason she wont really sing for me either.. nor can I catch her sleeping very often.. but that's alright I guess. 

Well, i've been mentioning that i'll post pictures of  my Vana'diel clock that I ordered off ebay, well, here it is!

Okay, Okay, I didn't take htis picture... but ever since we started packing and getting stuff together/ready for the move, I haven't been able to find much, and that includes my camera... I also got my Baby Chocobo Plushie in last night, once again, no camera, so I swipped this from google images, but this is what she looks like; 

I absolutely love her! Me and my husband were taking turns cuddling her through the night. =3 We consider my little baby chocobo Amy to be our FF11's character's love child. We have another on the way, by the way. Major is also taking care of an egg now, after awhile of me pestering him to try Chocobo raising again with me. Last time he didn't do so well, but this time I think it'll be different~! We're hoping he has a male, and that his also gets color. He's going to train his to be a racer as well. We're going to breed ours together if everything works out like we're hoping for~!

Also, I DID get pictures of my Goblin strap before I lost my camera, but I never got to put them on the computer before I lost it... So sadly, no pictures of that yet either. I made a roughdraft picture of what I wanted my Goblin strap to look like in the end;

But It doesn't exactly look like that. It looks MUCH MUCH better. =D oh and that picture was made on Paint so don't give me bad crits.... lol. Needless to say, it took FOREVER to find beads that look like a Linkshell... I spend $16 on a giant bag of randomly assorted oceanside animals and shells, with only 8 shells that look like the Linkshell... so it was a little dissapointing but it was all I had to work with. I didn't end up painting it though, because it looked pretty darn close, and the little purple bead I super glued to the shell is perfect in size and color, so i'm proud of that. Also, I changed my idea of the "DuneBuddies" name chain thing, instead of it being a laminated piece of paper, it's now a bunch of letter beads! It looks amazing! I'll post pics up as soon as I find my camera....

EDIT; Also, just want to mention! Tomorrow is the start of the Winter Festival, December 15th-31st. I'm super excited! There's 4(i think.. might be more) different events you can do and TONS of new event prizes/items you can get. Me and Major are most likely going to get them all at least once, so it's exciting! I was hoping it would come around before we officially moved out of this apartment, so we wouldn't miss the festival, and it came true! And whats even cooler is that we could possibly have our internet back up in our new HOUSE(yay~!) before the end of the festival!

We can't go home for christmas, so it'll just be me, my hubby, and our son, and our whole house will be covered in boxes... but hey! we're making it our goal to be able to move in on the 23rd, have at least our christmas stuff unboxed and ready for christmas eve and christmas day, to give our son the best first christmas possible, and then like 3 days later take everything down... lol. But hey, it's worth it! I'm not even sure what we're going to do for our christmas dinner... hmmm. I'll think of somethin'. =D

NUUUUUU!!

I couldn't get online yesterday at all for the life of me!! X_X My poor little Amy... she's going ot be starving if/when I get online today. I plan on hopping on when my son goes down for his nap... In the mean time, My goblin DS/PSP/Cell phone strap came in yesterday, it was hard to put on my phone but I finally got it. I'm going to be adding things to it tonight, so i'll post pictures then. 3 days ago we got our amazing Vana'diel clock in the mail. It looks amazing, alot smaller then I imagined but big enough to carry around with us too! It's awesome. It has alot of features, it doesn't link to your character like it said when I bought the item, but I still love it just the same, but now we don't have to buy another one lol.

The clock has the current time for the world of Vana'diel(ff11) and earth(real life) time. It has (V&E) dates, day of the week, the weather, and the moon phases! All for both the real world and the world of Vana'diel! It also has an alarm clock, and a count down alarm thingy. Plus 4 different songs to play, they're the background music to 4 major cities, which are San d'Oria, Bastok, Windurst, and Jeuno. They sound pretty. =3 Ill post pictures of that when I get pics of my goblin for ya.

Bring out the Sparkling!

So last night, I logged on and FINALLY my Chocobo hatched! She's so beautiful. Yep, that's right, she's a girl! I named her Amatzukazu Angel, or Amy for short lol. We started her training the moment she was able to, she's going to become a Racer Chocobo so I have high hopes for her! She hatched out of her egg with full affection for me, yay!, which was something I was afraid wouldn't happen, but it did!

I'm going to start gardening and grow her some Vomp Carrots and other foods she'll need to grow into a healthy and strong racer~! With her basic care being walks through the town daily, as well as me taking her for walks through-out the day, with feedings and playtime with mommy(thats me lol). I'm really hoping she becomes a different color chocobo other then Yellow, but after my baby hatched, idc what she becomes, i'll still love her!

A Little Backed Up....Ooops....

Okay... so it's been a while since I updated, and some stuff has happened. I'm going to fill this post with what i've done since I posted last... but I won't be able to remember all of it so bare with me. Thaaaanks!

Okay, so we signed on, got into a party and got me to lvl 20, which didn't take long, and Major got to lvl 30 for his DNC, awesome! Here's a picture of the party in-action. Naoki(a female Hume DRG), Redrusty(a male hume SAM(samurai)), Armlets(a male hume RNG), Nemeris(a female Mithra SCH(scholar)). Then me(THF) and Majormoron(DNC).

 After we got to lvl 20 & 30 we disbanned the party and headed out to Jeuno~! It was a long journey, and it was pretty interesting! There were alot of forests and droopy scary looking trees and misty everywhere. And apparently there are walking trees there where if your not lvl 30 you'd get your butt kicked! Major said he saw one and avoided it, but I couldn't tell the difference from the walking tree and a normal one.... so I just left it alone and was thankful it didn't aggro us, lol.

When we got To Jeuno(right outside the gate) we got attacked by a Sabertooth and died... go us lol. But we were smart and got a reraise(or whatever) from a floating book in the starting area of the Jeuno foresty lookin area. So once the Sabertooth moved we decided to run for the town. We made it!!

We went straight to the Chocobo stables, and the AH(Auction House) just happened to be right next to it too, so major started looking for some things for us, while I started my chocobo quest. It took a loooooooong time(literally an entire real life day) to finish the sick chocobo quest, and start the chocobo on the loose quest as well.

I finally got my chocobo liscense! After that we needed to go to Sand d'Oria(Sandy for short) which is the newb town which is a looooong journey back... so guess what we decided to do to get there?! That's right! We borrowed some Chocobos and took off!

After going to Sandy(after I bought my chocobo egg from a little Mithra girl) we headed to the Chocobo stables to start raising my chocobo, and major decided to go out and start crafting me some arrows for my RNG, while I sat there and stared at an egg for the rest of the night.

I basically just sat there  for the next two days in real life staring at a chocobo egg, and going outside of sandy for a bit with my husband leveling our other jobs to at least lvl 5(i barely managed to get mine to 4 lol) and Genus was our PL. We did some crafting and leveled a few low lvl jobs and my subjob, and that was about it.

The day before yesterday I got into a party with a bunch of random people, and they let me pull for them, they said it would be good practice since my main job in the future is going to be RNG. I was very greatful to them and started pulling right after they gave me some pointers and helped me out on what i'm supposed to do. I think I did a pretty good job. One thing I found really interesting though was that one of them was a PUP(Puppet Master) and it was my first time seeing a Puppet, so I nabbed a screeny for the blog for the cool little guy!

After about an hour of partying with these guys in the Dunes for a while, I got a huge Migrane, so I had to get off, plus our show was coming on in two hours, so I wanted to get rid of it before it drove me insane! 

Yesterday I signed on and there was the new level 90(and other things) update, so I started that up on hopes that it would end soon so I could spend some time with my chocobo and get him ready for his hatching tonight(I think it's tonight.. either tonight or tomorrow!) but the update was so big that the night came and gone before I could get a chance to play. This morning at 5am me and the husband got up with our baby(he was hungry) and the husband checked on my download for me. It turns out it had froze or something on us, because it was STILL at the exact spot as it was the night prior, so we started the update over again, and it really started going then. When I checked on it 3 hours later it was finished, so I started up my husbands update and I hopped online ot take care of my little chocobo. He still hasn't hatched yet, but he's moving around alot, the eggs shaking like crazy. I watched it for 2 hours and checked out the AH for a few things. I got myself a shield, and a necklace, and decided to start getting me the chocobo riding grear. I think I spent about 25k there... ouch! 

After that I logged off until tonight. I hope my chocobo hatches tonight at 8pm! Can't wait! =D Also, I've decided to make him a racer chocobo, yay me! I'ma have huge trophies in my mog house eventually~! Speaking of which, I added something to it, and moved some things around, here's a picture of it; (I love that Moogle!)

So Close....

So two nights ago it was rly late and me and major were RLY tired, so we just hopped on and finished my subjob, finding out that for whatever reason I couldn't give myself a subjob for some reason, we'll figure it out later, i'ma start lvling my sub when Jesi gets on the play, so we can level together. =) until like level 12 'cuz then it gets hard to solo lol. Well he finished my subjob quest for me and logged me off, and that was that.

Last night however, we signed on and got a party together(after like an hour of trying to get people to join). We had, me, Majormoron, Genus, a female Hume SCH(Scholar) named Omulife(she was japanese and didn't speak any english), a male Galka NIN(Ninja) named Fauxsilence, and a male Hume MNK(Monk) named Cloheseis. That was our party for most of the night.

After an hour or so of trying to fight pugs on the secret beach and us getting rapped by Bounty Hunting Gobs, Omulife left and we decided to fight other things. But first we were going to add another party member first. Genus was at a friends house that just happened to play FF11 as well, so he hopped on and partied with us. He was a male Hume NIN named Battleasi. He was pretty out there, but it was way cool.

Also Faux decided to join our LS, DuneBuddies~! Yay! I bought a Goblin cellphone/ds/psp strap off ebay last night(as well as a baby chocobo plush) and i've decided to do a little arts and crafts project with that. I'm going to find/make a little shell to look like the Linkshell and paint it sandy yellow with a hint of pink on it(to look like our DuneBuddies ls) and put a small round purple pearl on it. Then i'm going to take a piece of papper and in nice fancy Ink write "DuneBuddies" on it and seal plastic around it somehow and poke a hole in it for the keyring thing. Then when I put it all together it'll be a cellphone/ds/psp strap of a gob, our LS&pearl and have our LS name next to it. That way it'll always remind us of our LS DuneBuddies. The one we bought off ebay is going to be me and Major's and then we're going to buy a 2nd one for Genus. So far he's the only other one that deserves it lol, we're thinking of getting one for Tlaloc as well, and if Tawgg and Kekuichi ever show up again, get them some as well. We're all the founders of DuneBuddies so it would make sense, but Tawgg and Keku haven't been on in a while....

I'm also going to be getting a small strap of a chocobo and get one for Katie(my r/l sister) as well since when she starts playing the game in the summer with her b/f Richie we're going to be chocobo breeders together~! I'll also be getting a strap of the moogle, cactaur and tonberry, and then i'll be getting plushies of all of them plus a Bomb. =D Then i'll be set, but I prob. won't get those for a little while, lol.


Anyways, back to the game.... We got some new pages(pg 3) and went to the oasis to fight, since Bats was level 15 NIN we had to lvl sync to 15 instead of my lvl 18. We went to the oasis and found DamsenFlies(flies) and Crabs(Snippers), and the occasional Gob that wondered by. Eventually everyone leveled once(EVEN ME! W00T! LVL 19~! SooOooOOOoo CLOSE!) and then Major was falling asleep, so we finished our last page for the night and logged off. Only one more level to go....

Darn Computer....

Okay, so last night I leveled up to 18 right? Well I logged on today a little later then norm, by like 30 min. nothing major but still wasted some time... We logged on and continued to look for things that I needed to finish my subjob quest, well after almost an hour of Major not being able to find me a Skull, I asked Genus if he'd come help us. He did, but at the exact second he got to our area(cave thingy....) Major finally got a Skull, lol. We got our goods, all partied together and ran our way to Salbina, which is a nice small town in the middle of the Dunes.(Funny we'd still be there right? lol...)

The most horrid thing started to happen!!! The second we got towards the gates to the city my game froze and kicked me off...(i got d/c(disconnected))  I logged back on, took a step, COMPY FROZE! Logged back on one more time... took a few steps, FROZE... Finally we decided we'd give it one more shot before we logged off for the night, I got one cm step before i zoned into the town to turn in my quest and get subjobs when my compy, yes, FROZE AGAIN....!!!! So I just stayed logged off, figuring the god of gaming decided to make me wait until tomorrow to get my subjobs. *SIGH* I didn't get any screenies, but I made my hubby get a few, he hasn't sent them to me yet, but when he does i'll be sure to post them here for you all/myself.

Not much happened tonight, hung out with friends, had some rly good laughs, got an item needed to subjob quest and thats it. No exp, a little bit of gil here and there from random kills, otherwise nothing. Oh, Genus gave me a piece of gear, it's like lvl 24 but hey, at least I have something for when I get to that level right?? Thnx Genus~!

Speaking of which, he finally got his girlfriend interested in ff11 enough to make her wanna play it. She went out and bought an xbox360 tonight and they're currently waiting for her game to come in the mail, hopefully it comes in tomorrow so she can start playing with us, yay! She seems rly awesome and I can't wait to play with her. She's gonna be a RDM Mithra~! =D Then eventually a DRG(dragoon) or a BST(beastmaster). She's going to solo for a while/have Genus PL her for a while, but eventually I hope for her to join the DuneBuddies and start partying with us too! It'll be lots of fun. =D

One last note, I bought a Vana'diel clock today on ebay... it's already been shipped!! We're going to link the clock to my husband's character(Majormoron), but i'll give you more details and some real life pictures of it when it gets here, until then, just know it's on its way!
